This lace boot is part of the classic Van Bommel collection. The rubber outsole is produced in a custom-made injection mould, so there is no need for a leather welt. This makes the shoe exceptionally flexible, giving it a slightly more casual look than models with a classic sole and leather welt. The leather heel counter is beautifully finished with a dovetail joint in the tread. The insole is removable and can be replaced with your own footbed or insole if desired. The shoe comes with premium black calf leather lining. A luxury textile label with Van Bommel branding is stitched into the lining. The fastening features a stud with the iconic copper-coloured VB logo stamped into the leather. This shoe is made from classic dark brown suede. The suede has undergone a light tanning process with vegetable oils, giving the nap a beautiful brushing effect and a luxurious feel. The suede comes from a suede tannery in Fucecchio, in the Italian region of Florence.
