This is a sturdy derby shoe which is made according to the Goodyear method. The Goodyear make is a beautiful artisanal way of manufacturing shoes. No prefabricated parts are used. Each part is custom-made and assembled in our factory in Moergestel. The upper is stitched to a midsole and not to the outsole. The advantage of this is that the connection between sole and upper is guaranteed to be waterproof. The upper is made of lightly greased calf leather that has a deep cognac colour. At the ankle, the collar is equipped with a soft foam padding. Inside, the shoe is finished with high-quality calf leather lining. The shoe has an H-width and is thus suitable for slightly wider feet.
